RECOMMENDED STUDENT MATERIALS
All supplies, materials, and equipment needed to participate in educational activities shall be provided to pupils free of charge. This list of Recommended Student Materials is for parents/caretakers that wish to provide personal supplies for their 5th grader.

- NO 3-ring binders in 5th grade
- Pay close attention to MINIMUMS and MAXIMUMS. These sizes are based on usage and storage capability.
1 GRAPH SPIRAL NOTEBOOK - 150 -180 pg MINIMUM (or 2 GRAPH SPIRAL notebooks 80-100 pg each) Purchase these notebooks as soon as you see them - they sell out quickly. Easy to find online! NO LOOSE GRAPH PAPER PLEASE.
1 LARGE, strong, zippered, pencil POUCH (NO plastic boxes)
5 #2 pencils (sharpen nightly at home and keep a LARGE supply at home)
2 rectangular erasers
2 highlighters (two different colors)
2 BALLPOINT pens (red and blue)
2 medium point black Sharpies
1 sketch pad, 9”x12” MAXIMUM (Walmart, Target, Michaels)
Mr. Pacheco’s students only: 1 box CHALK pastels, 12 - 24 MAXIMUM (Walmart, Target, Michaels)
Mr. Shobar’s students only: 1 one-subject spiral notebook (preferably purple)
